Um breve relato da história do Site: O primeiro site da CBME foi desenvolvido com tecnologia Cold Fusion pelo Alex Hubner. Serviu o seu propósito de divulgar as atividades e a própria CBME durante vários anos. Sua aparência da página inicial era assim :

No final de 2009, outro voluntário, o Davi Marski, ofereceu-se para migrar o conteúdo para uma nova plataforma, baseada em um CMS  (Control Management System ou Sistema de Controle de Conteúdo) de código livre e aberto, em dezembro de 2009 o site da CBME passou a ter a seguinte aparência :

Entre as principais caractéristicas do novo site, gostaríamos de citar :

  • Site com layout redimensionável de forma dinâmica de acordo com a resolução do monitor do usuário
  • Recursos da Web 2.0 : envio do artigo por email, redimensionamento do tamanho das fontes pelo site (e não pelo navegador utilizado)
  • Integração com o Google Analytics, Google Docs
  • Possibilidade de atuação de diversos colaboradores, diversos administradores
  • Maior dinamismo Otimização de conteúdo e controle, e e muitos outros...

O layout do site é baseado no "template" Switch , usamos tecnologia Joomla, servidor Apache, banco de dados MySQL e o site é hospedado gentilmente pela Locaweb.

Em fevereiro de 2011, depois de mais de um ano refinando as caractéristicas do site, foi realizada uma nova atualização, com algumas implementações de layout (para poder incorporar o "framework" do Joomla 1.6 e também do WARP 5.5), baseado no estilo de imagem da http://www.yootheme.com/demo/themes/joomla/2009/phoenix/index.php

Com o avanço das redes sociais (a tal da WEB 2.0), incorporamos "plugins" para Facebook, Twiter, Orkut...

E aprimoramos os recursos de RSS (leitura automática das notícias da UIAA e IFSC e alimentação do nosso próprio "feed rss"), acertamos vários logotipos e principalmente layout de menu (suprimimos o menu lateral da esquerda, concentrando todas as informações no menu superior).

Claro, o "mapa do site" foi aprimorado, assim como o rankeamento nas ferramentas de pesquisa (Google), e como não podia deixar de ser, incluiamos a possibilidade da tradução online do Goole (pelos ícones das bandeiras no topo superior direito do site)... Enfim, o jeitão do site ficou assim:

  • Mountaineering competition to take place in the Pamirs
    An international mountaineering competition takes place in the Pamirs July and has attracted teams from a number of countries including Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Ukraine, Belorussia, France, Croatia and Iran.     Climbing in the Dinaric Alps is a magical experience: Arben Lila The Kosovo Mountaineering and Alpinists Federation (KMAF) in cooperation with regional partners is organizing an International Expedition in the border triangle of Kosovo, Montenegro and Albania (Southeastern Europe) that includes an ascent of Maja Jezerc (2694 metres), the highest peak in the Dinaric Alps.   • Grivel to become sponsor of the UIAA

  • Participation in Arco International Open for RockMaster 2012

    Registration to Arco International Open is open to all athletes with a valid international license

    All athletes with a valid international license, with the exception of those who are automatically eligible for the RockMaster, will be allowed to participate in the International Open, which will take place on August 30-31, just before the RockMaster. For this event, no national quota is set and the deadline for registration is August 15.

  • Clarification on Mokpo LWC 2012

    Mokpo LWC to replace Dresden LWC

    Despite the inclusion of Mokpo Lead World Cup in the IFSC Calendar of Events 2012, the total number of Lead WCs will not change. Mokpo LWC - originally proposed as WC by the Organizers, then accepted as master and finally changed into a WC - in fact will replace Dresden LWC, whose cancellation was announced last March.
